OCZ Technology Partners with Fatal1ty
July 1st, 2008 by CEVO|Ping
CEVO sponsor OCZ Technology recently announced a partnership with Jonathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel to produce Fatal1ty Brand high-performance gaming products. According to the press release on their website, OCZ will collaborate with Fatal1ty to produce “high performance memory and power supplies which will be specifically engineered to meet the unique needs and requirements of gamers.”
The move brings Wendel one step closer to having an entire Fatal1ty Brand PC solution. His product line already includes motherboards, sound cards, video cards, mice, mousepads, a headset, and even a keyboard. With the addition of OCZ RAM and power supplies, an entire Fatal1ity gaming beast may not be far off.
Adding the Fatal1ty brand to its lineup will undoubtedly bring more general awareness and direct attention from the gaming community to the quality products OCZ produces. Though there is no official word on timelines for release or specifications, I predict a nice selection of gamer-centric products to be forthcoming in the not too distant future. OCZ already makes some of the fastest memory available, so expect that trend to continue, but with care taken to ensure the product is available to gamers at the proper price point.
“OCZ is a favorite brand I’ve used to build my systems. To develop products with them is an honor and I look forward to working closely with them to create gaming gear for the future.” – Jonathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel
It comes as no surprise to this author that Wendel was already a fan of OCZ. I’ve used and recommended OCZ RAM for gaming platforms since long before they were a CEVO sponsor. In fact, I have a couple of their Platinum sticks in my machine right now! I like the reliability and excellent timings of their memory, as well as their willingness to respond to customer concerns directly on Newegg. Plus, OCZ pays special attention to the eSports sector. In addition to recently sponsoring two special CEVO tournaments (for Counter-Strike 1.6 and Call of Duty 4), they also sponsors various teams and a few LAN events. So for me, this partnership illustrates OCZ’s continued commitment to gamers. I’m excited for the new line of products and to see what else OCZ has in store for us!

Hi there…I am almost exactly one month behind you as I had surgery Dec. 4 in Miami Beach, FL. The warm weather helps and I certainly don’t have to deal
with snow or ice. Question: On your second visit to the doc, did he give you the instruction to do weight bearing at your own pace or with specific limits,
and if so, what were they? I am scheduled for Jan 20 visit when I am expected to do wb with crutches. Also, how early did you do exercises, massages, and PT?
Finally, when did you start ice?
I appreciate any answers you give me.
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks very much for this article, there’s not much COD4 strategy publically available. Most of the time it comes down to watching a lot of demos/casts to pick up new tricks.
Something similar for Strike would be appreciated. Keep it up!
